A-C

Amy (Healy) Kemp - After high school, I attended Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) beforemoving to Oahu to attend BYU-Hawaii. I lived in Hawaii for just six shortmonths (I should have stayed longer!) before heading to Provo, UT to finishmy undergraduate work at BYU. After completing a degree in Psychology, Iworked at Westminster College as an admissions counselor and then at SLCC asan academic advisor. In January 2002, I moved to New York City to do aMasters degree in Social Work at NYU. While there, I shamelessly starteddating, and then married, one of my brother's former collegiate roommates,Chris Kemp. Upon completing graduate school, I worked as an executiveassistant for the CEO of an investment management firm. Chris and I livedin New York for five years before moving to Philadelphia, PA where myhusband is currently attending Wharton business school. When he graduates, this next May, we will move to Newport Beach, CA.

Amy (Hill) Nielson - I went to Ricks College and received my associate degree. Then I completed one semester at USU before stopping to have back surgery for scoliosis, which I don't recommend at all. While I was home recuperating, I met my soulmate, which I do recommend doing. Nick Nielson and I were married in May 2001. He went to school for Electrical Engineering while I worked full time until I had my children. We have two beautiful girls, Ruth is 4 years and Maren is 2 years old. Nick works at Edo ElectroCeramics and I work part time at night at Deseret Book.

Andrea (Davis) Wilson - After graduation, I went to Ricks College (now BYU-I)to play softball. Our team did very well there... 2ndplace in the nation my freshman year and 3rd place mysoph. year. After I graduated in 1999, I was asked toplay softball for the University of Oklahoma. Ourteam did even better there. We won the NationalChampionship my junior year, and we took 3rd place mysenior year. I graduated with a Bachelors inSociology in 2002. I met my hushand, Dylan Wilson (anOklahoma native) there. We moved back to Utah in 2002and were married in July 2002. My daughter Riley camealong in April 2004...almost 3 months premature andweighing 2 lbs. We endured a long 3 months in thehospital with her and she is truly a miracle and awonderful blessing. Right now, we are living inPocatello, Idaho where I am the assistant softballcoach for Idaho State University. I am so lucky tohave a job that I love and am very passionate about. That about sums it up I guess!!

April (Marsh) Johnson
After highschool I attended Weber State. I had the most fun of my life playing soccer for the Wildcats and studying Communications. I met amazing friends, went on some fun adventures, and practiced soccer all week to mostly cheer from the bench. My junior year I developed IT Band Friction Syndrome in both my legs and had to quit. I still deal with it every day, so I'm not sure I will push my kids to put as much emphasis on sports as I did. At Weber I met a hot red-head on the football team and we became best friends. Travis and I are still best friends and will celebrate our 6 years of marriage next month. I graduated with a BA in television broadcasting (yes, all I did in college was play soccer and make tv shows), and worked for KUTV Channel 2 until we were married. Then we moved to Detroit where he worked for Ford Motor Company. I worked as an editor at a small production house that made commercials, documentaries and training videos. Ford then moved us to Seattle and I took a desk job until the birth of our first child, Riley. After a year of that, Travis was done with being 'Mr. Corporate' and wanted to try life back on the farm. So we moved to Vale, OR where he works on the family farm, feedlot and cattle ranch with his dad and brother. It took a long time for me to adjust to small town life; there are the same number of people in Vale as there were in our high school! But I now consider Vale home, and I can't believe I actually live in a double-wide trailer! We have a second child, Diesel, and I run around after them most of the time. When I need a break from being 'Mommy,' I have my own business - Red Barn Photography (photography was my minor) and my sister-in-law and I just started a music/dance studio. I am the dance teacher. Shocking, I know. Maybe I can talk one of our former Chirons or Dance Company members to come up for a visit as a guest teacher! Check it out at http://www.thestudioinvale.com/. Travis and I never get to play racquetball anymore, or read books together anymore, but we are having a great adventure getting to know Riley and Diesel. Our third child is due to arrive this February - it's a girl. I wish everyone the best and hope we can come down for the next reunion!

My husband designs video games and I get to spend my days having fun with the kids.

Brian Healy - After high school, I attended SLCC for a year before leaving on a two year church vacation to Cochabamba Bolivia. After that I returned to SLCC and completed my Associates degree in General Studies. After SLCC I moved myself up north to Utah State University where I completed both my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting. Also while attending USU, I meet my wife Brooklin Verniuew, who I have been married to for the past 5 years. Since graduating from USU I have been working in Salt Lake City for PricewaterhouseCoopers, a public accounting firm, where I currently work as a CPA. My family and I are currently in the process of relocating to the Washington DC area where I am taking a new position with the firm in their Mergers and Acquisitions practice. We've been living in our home in Bountiful for the past two years where Brooklin and I had our first child in October of 2006. Her name is Reagan. And after all this, I still bleed Blue and Gold. After High school I went to Snow College for about a year, studying nursing. I then came back home to Salt Lake Community, changed my major and graduated with an associates of business. I work from home as I try chase after my two boys. Hunter who is now 3, and Cooper who is almost 9 months old, they are a handfull, but I absolutely love being a mom! We have a home in West Jordan, we spend most of our free time 4 wheeling and camping. It is so neat to see what everyone has been up to, sorry to have missed the reunion, it ended up i was out of town. But look forward to reading some more of your guys updates. You can also see what else my family has been up to at:

Heather Key - I was a very scared girl in High School. I know it might not have seemed that way, because I thought that I had to be happy or seem happy to be okay. All I ever wanted was to be liked, and sometimes I tried to hard. However, I now get that I didn't like myself, and therefor would not ever let anyone get close to me. And yet I thought that I had to be popular to be okay. I wanted to fit in and yet I never allowed myself to. I am responsible for all of this. I now get that I am okay just the way I am with all of my imperfections. I live my life not trying to fit in, but embracing and sharing my own humanity. My life is fulfilling. I have good days and I have bad days. I embrace the journey.
Life in the past 10 years has been good. I graduated from Rick's College (now BYU of Idaho) with may Associates in Behavioral and Social Sciences, than moved back to Utah for a year and worked with Autistic Adolescents. In August 2000, I moved to New York as a livein Nanny. I have lived here since. I was a nanny for 2 years, than worked with developmentally disabled adults for 5 years. I am currently back to being a nanny, and I absolutely love it. I nanny for a 12 yr old boy who is a survivor of brain cancer and truly inspiring. I also nanny for his sister who is 13 and such a fun, sweet girl. The family that I work for are very loving and generous, and I couldn't ask for a better situation as a Nanny. This is totally opposite of "The Nanny Diaries", although I definitely have some past nanny horror stories.
I absolutely love living in New York. I go to the big city at least once a week. Manhattan is one of the greatest cities in the world. I invite anyone who would love to come out here to e-mail me, and I may be able to arrange for a place to stay. I have many connections here, and might be able to have people stay here with me. I am not far from a train that goes into Manhattan.
Currently, I am directing a Documentary on something called Prader-Willi Syndrome. I worked with Developmentally Disabled Adults who have it, and they are participating in my film. Things are going slowly, but by this time next year, I expect it to be completed and hopefully viewed at the Tribeca Film Festival in Manhattan.
I am also an aspiring actress. I was in the background of an episode of Rescue Me about a year ago. I am currently stepping up my game, and will go on 2 auditions by the end of August. I will keep you all posted on how that goes.
I would love to hear how all of you are doing. Please feel free to e-mail me at http://us.f574.mail.yahoo.com/ym/Compose?To=Nyladyutah4@yahoo.com

At UW, I worked on a team developing a hybrid-powered Chevy suburban and on a team that competed in the AMD robot challenge in Illinois. I graduated from UW in the Summer of 2002 and immediately moved to Hamburg, Germany to work as a design engineer for a German firm specializing in experimental apparatus, robotics, and cryogenics. My husband and I took advantage of every opportunity to travel while living in Europe. After nearly 4 years in Germany, we moved to Indiana where my husband accepted a post-doctoral research position with Purdue University. I gave birth to our first baby a few weeks later and have spent the last year chasing her around the house.

Jeanette (Thornock) Liddell - After graduation I attended UVSC where I had a lot of fun as a member of the Dance Team. Durig this time I met my husband, Jesse Liddell, and we got married May 14, 1999. I finnished my associates of science at UVSC and then continued there to get my nursing degree as an LPN. Before I could go on to RN I found out I was pregnant with our daugter Abigail. I worked for a while at LDS hospital and did home health for a time too. Now I am a stay at home mom. Jessica (Earl) Steed - After graduating from T-Ville, I attended the University of Utah and got a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Communications. While at the U, I was a member of the Marching Band and Jazz Band and served an internship with the Supreme Court in Washington, DC. After graduation, I got a job with Jim Matheson's 2000 congressional campaign. When he won the election, I was hired as a constituent services staffer in his Salt Lake City office. On August 25, 2001, I married Jon Steed and we moved to Seattle for his job the day after our wedding. We lived in the Seattle area for a about two years where I worked at a small private school. After Seattle, we moved to Jon's hometown - Monmouth, Oregon (you can find it on really detailed maps) - where we both worked for Salem Hospital and taught early morning seminary. A better job opportunity for Jon came up after about a year in Oregon, so we packed our things again and moved back to Salt Lake City. While there, we had our first daughter, Norah Ann, and purchased our first home in the Highland Park neighborhood by Sugar House Park. We had a great time in Utah again, but new opportunities have beckoned again and we moved back to Monmouth, OR in June of this year. Jon is currently working as the Finance Operations Manager for the City of Monmouth and I am busy chasing two-year-old Norah and preparing for the arrival of her sister in November. It's hard to believe that we graduated 10 years ago. One of the things that I enjoyed about moving back to Utah was the chance meetings I would have with some of our classmates. Now that I am away again, those chances are gone. I would appreciate hearing from anybody about their adventures.

Jill (Coombs) Bodine - After graduation I attended a few different colleges including SUU, and BYU Hawaii, and finally graduated from BYU in Mathematics Education. I married Preston Bodine in 2000 and we moved to Las Vegas where I taught High School Math for 4 years. I also finished a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. When Preston graduated from UNLV we moved back to Salt Lake to be closer to our families. Now I love staying at home with our two boys. I am also an adjunct faculty member in the math department at SLCC where I teach one or two classes every semester.
Jill (Dunnigan) Syme - Hello Fellow Warriors! What an awesome 10 years it has been since we took that final walk on Friday June 13th. It seems just like yesterday at times when I look back, and especially when I hear the songs that were on the radio at that time.I have come a long way since graduation. I have done quite a bit of traveling.I haven't been to Europe yet, but I figure that Mexico, and the Caribbeancount for that, and my family and I go to Disneyland every year.In April of 2000, I met my sweetheart, Jonathan Syme. He graduated fromCottonwood in 1998. (We still argue to this day about who's school is better....) We waited a few years to have kids, so that we could have timeto ourselves and travel around. Then in October of 2004, we welcomed Preston into our family. He is a very, very, very, active almost 3 year oldand is constantly keeping us laughing and on our toes.We live way out in West Jordan, and surprisingly many other classmateslive out in our area as well. Although we love it out there we are planningon moving within the next year into our final home. I have been very blessed since Preston was born to be able to stay at home and raise him. What a blessing it is...although tiresome at times. I wouldn'ttrade it for the world. I never went to College after High School, but someday after we are done havingkids, and they are in school, I do plan on going back. As to what I am going to study is a different story. I have worked for various companies. RC Willey, and Clear One Communications(part of the Clear Channel company) were my favorites.I have so many wonderful memories, and friends from High School. Everyonemade those 3 years the best. As a class we shared happy times, like when we graduated, and sad times like when those that we loved passed on into another life.Keep those moments close to your heart, and you will forever remain young.I wish everyone the best in all that you do. I hope that you will be able to accomplish your dreams, and see them turn into reality. I hope that we will always remain friends throughout the coming years! Until our 20 year reunion...may you all have a wonderful, and successful life!

I then moved back to Salt Lake and studied Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Utah. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in May 2003. In the meantime, I met and married my husband, Ben Tullis. During school and also after graduating, I worked for the real estate law firm of Ward, Miller and Geyer as their Office Manager. I worked there for five years until I had my son, Ryan in November 2005. I am now at home with him and love spending my days with Ryan who is almost two. Ben and I have been married for just over five years and we now live in West Jordan, Utah.

Kelli (Brown) Jones - About a week after graduation my parents moved to West Jordan to a house right across the street from my future husband. I have been married for nine years and have four children (one has passed). I have received a certificate for medical billing and coding but have chosen to stay at home with my three children ages 7, 5, and 9 months. Email me at: floating_butterfly@msn.com

Lindsay (Sodja) Boudreau - After I graduated High School, I went to the U of U on a full-ride basketball scholarship. Attending the U was a great experience. Basketball was fun but very political and often times frustrating. I came to the conclusion that I went to the U to meet my husband, not just to play ball. I got married in 2000 to my wonderful husband Justyn. He was on the football team and we actually met in the weight room…funny story J. Anyway, being that we were both still in school and both still playing sports life was pretty crazy…but very fun! I graduated with a BS in Parks Recreation and Tourism in 2002 and Justyn with a BS in Mass Communication in 2003. In 2002, we decided we were tired of renting an apartment so we built a house and moved to Syracuse, UT which is where Justyn is from. I worked as a personal assistant at a life insurance firm for a couple years, then in the billing department at a Chiropractic office for another couple years. In January of 2006, we had our beautiful daughter Skylee who is now 19 months old and very busy. I’m now a full-time mom and I couldn’t be happier. Justyn started his own freight forwarding business and loves his job and the flexibility of being his own boss. Last summer, we moved to West Point where we currently live. We love to spend our free time snowboarding, 4-wheeling, camping, playing sports, biking, and traveling. I still love to play basketball and try to play a couple times a week, along with playing soccer a couple nights a week. We love to stay active and love spending time together as a family. NBICU. Now they are completely healthy, happy, and a handful! We
moved to Palm Desert, CA when they were just 3 months old. We absolutely love it here, it took some time to get used to the summer heat (especially the days with 127 for a high) but now that we are settled the only thing I miss about Utah is my family.
I am lucky enough to stay home with the little ones while Bryce works
as a Superintendent for a home development company. I post lots if
pictures of the kids and our adventures at:

Nathan Maynes - After High School, I served a mission in Stockholm, Sweden. Jattebra!!!! After I got back, life got busy. I met and married the love of my life, Christa. We spent a few years living in Taylorsville, while I worked as a stone mason. I decided to go back to school, and I got my degree in Aviation Science. I have finished my private pilot ground school and am currently working in Anchorage, Alaska as an Air Traffic Controller. Alaska is a beautiful place to live and we have loved living here for the past few years. Although, Christa and I both feel that it is time to return to Utah. We have 4 children (Charity-5, Kelly-4, Brad-2, and Luke, 18 months), and want them to grow up with their cousins and grandparents. We will be back in a few short months. We are excited to see everyone again. I love my wife, my kids, and my job! My job gives me many chances to see the world, and take care of my family. We will miss the moose that sleep in our back yard, and the bears that tip over our garbage cans. But we are excited to get back to warmer temperatures, and normal seasons again. It would be great to hear from some of friends from the class of '97. Go Warriors!!!

Randi LaMere - Haven't done much in the 10 years out of high school. I do have a beautiful 20 month old daughter. I live in Vancouver, Washington. After moving from SLC didn't keep in contact with anyone. There are a few people I would like to get in contact with not sure if that can be arranged.

Rebecca Lyday-Godoy - I moved to New York right after graduation and lived in and around the city w/ family and friends for almost a year and a half. After that year I went upstate to school. I emnrolled in Wells College, a small womens college. However after the first year I realized I could not live in such a secluded area. I moved back to Utah and met my husband, Mariano. We have been married for 7 years and we enjoy travelling. We spent three and half weeks in his native Argentina a few years back and we go to Mexico every year to get away. Next year we are planning to visit New Orleans and/or Lima, Peru. Also, this coming year we will be relocating to Phoenix so that Mariano can go to culinary school and fulfill his dream of being a chef. I will also be enrolling into school for fashion merchandising.

In 2005 I graduated with a degree in Information Systems and Accounting. After graduation I worked at Chase bank for a year and I have worked at Goldman Sachs for about a year now. I love what I do and enjoy working for a good company.
In 2004, I started spending more time with a friend that had set me up on a blind date 4 years earlier with Allie Vettori. We all spent more and more time together and Allie and I eventually paired off and we were married in December of 2004. We enjoy travelling and have been fortunate to have seen some pretty cool sites. Allie served a mission in Hawaii so that's been a place we can go to where she can show me the sites and have a place to stay. Allie got her BSN at the U of U in 2005 and is currently working as a nurse at Cottonwood Hospital in the ER and at a plastic surgery clinic.
We are expecting a baby boy in October which will be our first. We know we're not prepared or will we ever be but we're really excited. Hopefully he'll be something like the kid in the picture I've attached.
